Welcome to Lectio. These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of lectiostore.com (the "Site") and any purchase you make from us. "Lectio," "we," "us" and "our" refer to Adrienne and Stephen Hart, doing business as Lectio. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. Our store

Lectio sells Catholic, faith-inspired apparel and goods, including hats, t-shirts, sweatshirts, tote bags, notebooks and mugs. Our store runs on Shopify, and our products are made to order by a third-party print-on-demand production partner.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least the age of majority where you live, or use the Site with the involvement of a parent or guardian. If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Please give accurate, current information when you order.

3. Products and descriptions

We try to show our products as accurately as we can. Because items are made to order, colors may look slightly different from what you see on your screen, and print placement and garment measurements can vary a little from the mockups and size charts. We don't guarantee that every product description, image or color is error-free.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are listed in US dollars. Sales tax is added at checkout where required. Shipping costs are shown at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but a change won't affect an order you've already placed. Payments are processed securely through Shopify and its payment partners. We don't store your full card details.

5. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if there's a pricing or listing error, a product is unavailable, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you've paid for, we'll refund you in full.

6. Shipping, returns, and refunds

Shipping is covered by our Shipping Policy. Returns, replacements, cancellations and refunds are covered by our Refund & Return Policy. Both are part of these Terms. In short: because items are made to order, we don't accept returns for change of mind or wrong size, but we will replace or refund items that arrive damaged, defective or misprinted when reported within 30 days of delivery.

7. Intellectual property

The designs, artwork, text, logos, photos and other content on this Site belong to Lectio or are used with permission. Scripture quotations and quotations from saints and Church figures remain in the public domain or belong to their respective rights holders. You may not copy, reproduce or sell our designs or content without our written permission. Buying a product doesn't transfer any rights to its design.

8. Acceptable use

Please don't use the Site for anything unlawful, to interfere with its operation, to try to access other people's information, or to submit false orders or claims.

9. Reviews and messages

If you send us comments, reviews, photos or suggestions, you allow us to use them to run and promote Lectio (for example, sharing a review on our Site). We won't publish your personal contact details without your permission.

10. Third-party services

Our Site uses third-party services such as Shopify, payment processors, shipping carriers and our production partner. We're not responsible for their websites or their policies.

11. Disclaimers

The Site and products are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. This doesn't limit your rights under our Refund & Return Policy or any rights you have that can't be waived by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Lectio isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or products. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order won't exceed the amount you paid for that order.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Lectio harmless from claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Spokane County, Washington, unless the law requires otherwise. Before filing any claim, we ask that you first email us so we can try to resolve it informally.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
